Dairy-Free, Sugar-Free Fudgesicles Recipe
As the weather gets warmer, we tend to crave more refreshing foods that help to bring our body temperatures down. Fudgesicles are one many delicious treats that both speak to our chocolate cravings and cools us down on a warm spring or summer day. The problem is that our classic childhood favorites are mostly filled with high-fructose corn syrup, additives and food dyes. The good news is that we’ve found a fantastic way to revamp the classic fudgesicle recipe into a healthy, creamy, fat-filled treat. You’ll be making this simple 6 ingredient sugar-free fudgesicles recipe all summer long. All you need is a popsicle mold and food processor, and you are good to go!
This recipe makes 6 fudgesicles and takes less than 10 minutes to make.
Ingredients:
- 2/3 cup raw cacao powder
- 2 large ripe avocados
- 1/2 cup maple syrup (honey or stevia can work here too)
- 1/2 cup full fat canned coconut milk
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
Instructions:
- Peel and dice avocados. Add with all ingredients to a food processor or high speed blender.
- Blend until completely smooth (you may need to stop to scrape the sides several times)
- Transfer the mixture into your popsicle mold, making sure they are completely filled with no air pockets.
- Freeze up to 3 hours.
- You may need to thaw for 5 or so minutes to allow fudgesicles to release from their mold. Enjoy! cover with lid, insert
